He is the creator of Ecology in Motion Gua sha, which developed out of his chronic health clinic in North Africa, and has online and live Facial and Body Gua sha teaching programs.

He teaches all over the world and regularly tours the USA, Europe, Africa and Asia. His five books which feature Gua sha have been published and translated into six languages and with a clearly defined philosophy in his approach to Gua sha, he organises international projects in the use of Gua sha in communities with underdeveloped healthcare.

Facial Gua sha Self-care workshop
Clive usually teaches Facial Gua sha at a professional level in major cities all over the world but this is a rare chance to learn directly from him in this one day class on how to use Facial Gua sha on yourself as part of your health and beauty routine.

If you look online, you will find lots of information on Facial Gua sha but it is hugely misunderstood and the more you will hear from Clive, the more you will get to the heart of what Facial Gua sha really is. And it is so different from what most people think. In this short course, he will introduce the basic ideas behind what you do and this includes an introduction to Ecology in Motion Gua sha, a beautiful nature-based understanding of the face and body, and he will spend most of the class showing you how to treat your face and body based on these principles from the ancient Chinese.       
 
The basic structure of the sequences that will be covered is based on his book 'Facial Gua sha: A Step-by-step Guide to a Natural Facelift' but he will bring the information in the book to life with personal stories, tips and tricks and a sprinking of the sheer magic of the natural world. The class will be full of demonstrations to follow and ample time for questions and answers as well as supervised practice. And, remember, this is not a subject that he normally teaches live so if you miss this, you may have to wait a long time to catch it again.

Note that this is NOT a course which qualifies you to teach Gua sha self-care to others. It is not one of our Institute certificate courses and only designed for your personal self-care.

Facial Guasha for Self care

Clive is director of the Komorebi Institute and co-runs the ANMA Center for Health and Research in Barcelona, Spain. He is a licensed acupuncturist and health promotion specialist and has been using and researching Gua sha for over 23 years.
